La Familia, the Kentucky alumni team competing in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), is built on a foundation of leadership, experience, and deep ties to the Kentucky basketball community. The team is organized by Twany Beckham, a former Kentucky Wildcat and national champion, who was named TBT’s General Manager of the Year in 2023. Off the court, Beckham has built a career as a motivational speaker, author, and entrepreneur, using his platform to inspire athletes and professionals alike. Alongside him is Sam Malone, another Kentucky basketball alum, who has leveraged his background in sports and business to help shape La Familia’s vision and success. Brittany Harris, who serves as the team’s Director of Marketing and Player Personnel, brings a wealth of experience in sports marketing and fan engagement.
